14 DAY TRIAL // Sony Mobile recently unveiled the affordable Xperia tipo and confirmed the smartphone would go on sale in the following weeks.
It appears at least one UK-based carrier started to take pre-orders for Sony Xperia tipo. Unlocked Mobiles is now offering the smartphone for only £135 GBP ($210 or €170) outright.
Customers who are willing to commit to a long-term contract will probably want to wait a bit longer until a regional carrier picks this one up. We can safely assume that Sony Xperia tipo will be available for free on select plans in the following weeks.
The device is powered by Android 4.0.3 ICS platform and packs an 800 MHz single-core processor, which is complemented by an obsolete Adreno 200 GPU and 512MB of RAM.
