AT&T confirmed earlier this month that it would offer the Sony Xperia TL, but the carrier did not unveil any details on the phone’s exact release date or any pricing options.

Earlier today, the operator came forward with an official statement confirming Sony Xperia TL would be available from its online and store locations starting November 2.

Customers will be able to purchase the Xperia TL for only $99.99 USD (75 EUR) with a new two-year agreement. No word on the no-term price tag yet.

Also known as the “Bond” phone, Sony Xperia TL is featured in the 007 film, Skyfall. Given the fact that it’s the official Bond phone, it will come preloaded with some exclusive Bond content, including behind the scenes footage, interviews, clips, wallpapers, ring tones, and more.

According to Sony, the smartphone packs the company’s best HD capture and viewing experiences, along with the ability to share content across multiple devices via One-touch connectivity with NFC (Near Field Communication.

Sony Xperia TL ships with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, though the Japanese handset maker might push a Jelly Bean upgrade in the future. However, we’re still waiting for official word on this one.

Hardware-wise, the smartphone is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz, which is complemented by an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

The phone comes with 16GB storage inside, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The 4.55-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and integrates Sony Mobile BRAVIA technology, along with shatter proof and scratch-resistant glass.

Another highlight of the device is the impressive 13-megapixel rear camera, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. There’s also a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
