The Xperia T3 has been introduced in India last month for a quite high price if we take into consideration that this is an emerging market where competition on the Android smartphone business is pretty fierce.

Currently, Sony Xperia T3 can be purchased for Rs 26,990 ($440 / €330) outright. However, beginning today, the Japanese company announced that it’s adding a few nice accessories into the package to make the Xperia T3 more appealing to customers.

So, for a limited time, customers will be able to purchase the Xperia T3 bundled with Sony’s Smartband SWR10 fitness tracker and a premium case, which are worth Rs 8,480 ($140 / €105) together.

These accessories will be offered for free to those who decide to buy the Xperia T3 through one of the authorized Sony retailers. Keep in mind that the smartphone is now available through Croma, eZone, Reliance, Vijay Sales, Landmark and Flipkart, so ask for this promotional offer at any of these retailers.

As mentioned earlier, Sony Mobile India has confirmed that the deal will be available as stocks last, so there’s no telling exactly when it will end as this mostly depends on Xperia T3 sales.

It’s clear that Sony is not content with Xperia T3 sales in India, which is why it is trying to make it more attractive to customers by offering freebies in the form of these accessories.

The Xperia T3 is a standard mid-range smartphone powered by Google’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box. The handset is equipped with a decent 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

It also comes packed with 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and dual cameras (8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.1-megapixel secondary photo snapper).

Sony Xperia T3 sports a large 5.3-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features both TRILUMINOUS and Mobile Bravia engine 2 technologies.

The bad news is the Xperia T3 does not come with dual-SIM capability, which is very important for customers in India. However, the smartphone does offer LTE Cat4 support, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC (Near Field Communication).

On the positive side, the Xperia T3 provides FM Radio function and it’s powered by a non-removable high-capacity 2500 mAh battery, which should provide up to 690 hours of standby time or up to 15 hours of talk time.
