Good news for Sony fans in the United States, as Xperia T2 Ultra has just been spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and judging by the specs confirmed in the documents it supports LTE bands present in North America.

This might be an indication that Sony plans to launch the Xperia T2 Ultra in North America around the same time as the Europe.

XperiaBlog reports the smartphone appeared recently at FCC as Sony D5306, which is the single-SIM version of the Xperia T2 Ultra.

For the time being, Sony Xperia T2 Ultra is unavailable for purchase, but we expect Sony to put it on sale by the end of Q1 2014.

The smartphone is likely to go on sale at the same time in multiple regions, so stay tuned for more updates on availability and price tag.
