Xperia T, Sony’s high-end Android-based smartphone, is expected to make an appearance on shelves somewhere around September 27 – 29, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

Sony hasn’t provided an official release date for the smartphone, but a spokesperson from Expansys confirmed the aforementioned launch window, TechRadar reports.

Earlier, Sony confirmed that they were on track to launch the phone before the end of this month, and it seems that nothing has changed in the meantime.

The Xperia T will be available exclusively through Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U, which will sell it with various contract options with carriers such as Orange and O2.

Wireless operator Three UK also confirmed plans to add the new Xperia T to its offering, but it did not provide specific info on when that should happen. T-Mobile and Vodafone have yet to go official with their intentions regarding the device.
