Sony Xperia SL Goes on Sale in the United States

Unveiled about two months ago, Sony Xperia SL has finally made it in the United States. The smartphone is now available for purchase at Sony Store for no less than $570 USD outright.

Customers will be able to choose from four color options: black, pink, white and dark silver. Sony also throws in free shipping for all those who order the Xperia SL.

Sony Xperia SL is powered by Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The smartphone packs a dual core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz and an impressive 12-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

The device also sports a 4.3-inch LED-backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 720 x 1280 pixels resolutions and features scratch-resistant glass. Xperia SL embeds 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, but lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion.
