UK wireless carrier T-Mobile UK will range the newly launched Sony Xperia S smartphone, the same as Orange and other wireless carriers in the country.

No specific info on when the smartphone will become available for purchase has been unveiled for the time being, nor the price tag it might feature.

However, chances are that the new device will be put up for sale starting in March, a recent article on Recombu notes.

Online retailer Phones 4U has confirmed plans to make the handset available for its users starting in March, and wireless carriers in the country could follow suit.

Xperia S will arrive on shelves with a 4.3-inch HD touchscreen display on the front, along with a 1.5GHz dual-core application processor and a 12-megapixel photo snapper on the back. It runs under Android 2.3, though it should taste Ice Cream Sandwich soon.
