Sony Xperia S Enlarge picture - Sony Xperia S
Sony has just made available for download the user manual for its Xperia S smartphone, the first handset it pushed to the international market with a dual-core application processor inside.

The document weighs 7MB downloaded in English – and in many other languages, for that matter – and features 140 pages. It was released in over 50 languages.

The file is available on Sony’s support website, and all those who already purchased the device can download it. People who would simply want to learn more on the mobile phone can also grab one copy of the user manual.

On the same page with the user guide for the Sony Xperia S, you can find specific details on the warranty conditions that apply to the device in the various countries in which Sony plans on making it available.

This phone is fantastic except that the font size is too small for my reading ability. How can the font size be improved?
Thanks. Kofi

Xperia s is driving me mad right now. Keyboard is annoying having to go onto another page just for a fullstop. can't transfer my contacts from old fone.just added a contact by Bluetooth where did it go? It's not the most intuitive phone.
where is the manual?why isn't it on the fone?the hd and fancy stuff is all very well but it's the basic little things that matter. I'm not impressed yet.

Download Advanced task killer from Android Market, And there will be all smiles. You can kill the unwanted tasks , which will not only improve your battery life but also less utilize your RAM.
I installed it and now my battery stays with me for about 9 to 10 Hours.

I use the Xperia SL. There was no manual when I bought it. I searched everywhere but could not find EMAIL SETTINGS and specifically:
1. Where is the SENT EMAIL Folder?
2. How to keep emails in Inbox as they keep being deleted when I refresh and receive new ones?
Thanks

The phone is "messy" Battery life unacceptable in this day and age. Calendar is unable to move a momth at a time unless you go to weekly view. Alarm is crap. You cant turn it off by merely "unmarking" the days of the week you dont require. Too many apps. Fonts too small. Not all contacts will transfer across.
OOH for my samsing 8500 that died. Much better and cleaner phone.
