Sony Xperia S Rumored to Get Xperia SL Successor with Better CPU

Earlier this week, an unannounced Sony Xperia SL was spotted in Indonesia with the LT26ii codename attached to it.

Although not many details were available at the time of the leak, it looks like new info on the phone’s specs has just emerged online.

The folks over at XperiaBlog, citing a trusted source close to the matter, claims that the Xperia SL is just another version of Xperia S, but with better specs.

Rumor has it that Xperia SL will boast a better processor than Xperia S’ 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 CPU.

Unfortunately, there are no details on the matter for the moment, but there’s a high chance that the Xperia SL will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. Furthermore, the Xperia SL will also introduce a new color option, though it’s not clear which one.
