One of the first Xperia family devices to be branded with Sony’s logo, the Xperia S is expected to arrive in the UK next month. Several leading retailers even tried to attract customers by anticipating that the smartphone will be available earlier than next month.

However, Clove UK seems to be one of the retailers that are giving a decent release date for the Xperia S, so customers who want to pre-order the smartphone should know that they are likely to receive it in the week commencing March 5.

Currently, Sony Xperia S is priced at £430 (675 USD or 515 EUR) outright, but Clove has just announced an interesting offer for customers who intend to purchase the smartphone.

Basically, everyone getting the Xperia S for the full price will also receive several free accessories valued at £30 (50 USD or 35 EUR).

Each customer who buys a Sony Xperia S will get 4 x Sony Xperia NFC SmartTags (worth £20) and a £10 voucher off a future purchase of Sony Xperia accessories. This is an interesting offer which will probably force other UK-based retailers to slash off the Xperia S price even if just a bit.

Clove UK mentions that “if the £358+VAT price tag was not already justifiable for a device of this specification, it is now with a further £30 worth of kit included for FREE.” The deal is available for both, black and white Xperia S variants.

Those unfamiliar with Sony Xperia S’ specs sheet should know that this will be shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board, but it will soon receive an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and packs 32GB internal memory and 1GB of RAM. The stunning 4.3-inch LED-backlit capacitive touchscreen display supports 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and is based on Sony Mobile BRAVIA engine.
