Sony’s upcoming Xperia Honami smartphone is making it to the headlines more and more often in anticipation of its official unveiling on September 4, as the latest leaks on the matter brought us a glimpse of the phone’s metal frame.

Available courtesy of repair shop eTradeSupply, said photos show the frame from all angles, but reveal little that was not known already, as XperiaBlog notes.

Expected to arrive on shelves as the Xperia Z1, the mobile phone will sport about the same hardware specifications as its successor, the Xperia Z.

Thus, it will hit the market with a 5-inch full HD screen, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor inside, a 20-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and one of the latest flavors of Google’s Android operating system, maybe Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

No official confirmation on any of these has been provided as of now, but all should be unveiled soon, so stay tuned.
