The handset should land on the international market soon

Xperia GX, the Android-based mobile phone from Sony set to become available for purchase in Japan as soon as next week, has been long rumored to be en-route to the international market, and it should not be too long before that happens, it seems.

New photos with the device are now available online, coming from ePrice, along with a series of sample photos taken with the Xperia GX itself.

The handset, a high-end 4.6-inch phone with a dual-core application processor inside, arrives on shelves with a 13MP camera on the back, and the photos taken with it reflect that.

The device, spotted a few times before as the Sony LT29i ‘Hayabusa,’ can be admired in the video embedded above, as well as in a series of photos coming from ePrice (though they feature a prototype and not the final handset).
