The smartphone is available at this price tag via Flipkart

Sony Xperia E1 Dual, the dual-SIM version of Sony’s cheap Android-based handset, is now available for purchase in India at only Rs. 8,054 ($134/€96) via online retailer Flipkart.

The handset was released in the country back in March, and has already received a series of price cuts in the meantime, now being the cheapest ever.

The phone is available at this price in White, but the Black and Purple versions are also up for grabs through the retailer, though a bit more expensive, at Rs. 8178 ($136/€98).

As fonearena notes, the mobile phone arrives on shelves with a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touchscreen display, as well as with a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor inside.

Moreover, the phone features 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a 3-megapixel camera on the back.

The handset sports all the usual connectivity capabilities and sensors inside, as well as a built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS. Powered by a 1700mAh battery, the Sony Xperia E1 Dual runs under the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
