Unveiled last month along with the cheaper version of Sony Xperia Z Ultra, the mid-range Xperia E1 is expected to arrive in India by the end of next month.

According to Gizbot, Sony plans to launch the smartphone in India by late March, though it’s unclear whether or not the dual-SIM version will be released or not.

Given the fact that the dual-SIM feature is very popular among Indian consumers, we expect Sony to bring the dual-SIM version of Xperia E1 in India. No word on pricing options yet, but more details will probably emerge in the coming weeks.

Sony Xperia E1 is expected to ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a decent 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor.

Other highlights of the phone include 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display, 4GB of internal memory, 512MB of RAM, microSD card slot and 1750 mAh battery.
