The affordable Sony Xperia E was launched on the market back in March with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system onboard.

However, the Japanese company delivered a few small software updated that improved the phone’s UI and added several new features and tweaks.

Thus, the folks over at XperiaBlog report that the Xperia E is now receiving a new firmware update. Sadly, there’s no official changelog, so we can safely assume there is nothing major included.

Aside from upgrading the phone’s firmware to version 11.3.A.2.23, we expect the minor update to include slight improvements to UI, various performance enhancements, along with bug fixes and tweaks that have yet to be detailed.

Firmware version 11.3.A.2.23 for Xperia E is pushed OTA (over the air), so it might take a while until it reaches all devices.
