A new year has started, and with the CES 2014 show beginning in a few days, rumors are already starting to appear around the web about some of the upcoming cameras and lenses.

As we previously reported, Sony is preparing to announce a few new cameras this year, and recent rumors confirm this. According to SonyAlphaRumors, the Nippon manufacturer will be revealing three E-mount APS-C cameras as well as one A-mount APS-C model with SLT mirror sometime between January and September this year.

Of these four new APS-C cameras, one will be a high-end E-mount model and the A-mount will come as a replacement for the current a77. For the moment there's no other information regarding the other two E-mount models, but it's possible that they will fit in the entry-level category.

Earlier today, fresh new details appeared about the new generation of Sony A-mount cameras. It seems that these models will come with built-in Wi-Fi, NFC, improved LCD screen, and tweaked translucent mirror.
