Earlier today, a few photos were leaked picturing 5 new compact digital cameras that will be announced by Sony at the upcoming event prior to the start of CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show in Yokohama, Japan.

While the cameras depicted in these photos look quite similar with the previous Sony models, the images also reveal that the Nippon electronics maker is planning to announce a replacement for the current HX300 and HX50V models.

Indonesian technology information agency e-Postel, which is responsible with the approval of Wi-Fi-enabled devices on the Indonesian market, has included today two new Sony models, namely WX220 and WX350, on its list of approved devices.

These add up to the rumored HX400 and HX60 superzoom cameras and leave us with only one model to uncover before the actual announcement is made. Sony will unveil its latest A6000 (NEX-6/7 successor) interchangeable lens camera and the aforementioned compact digital cameras on February 12.
