Listen to the best Sony W200i has to offer

Sony has recently launched another walkman mobile phone which can be added to the list of such models. Its name is Sony W200i Walkman and it is basically designed to be a walkman before being a cellular.

Sony W200i's special talent is playing music, as this is the only area where it proves capable of excelling. Aside from this, its 0.3MP VGA camera with digital zoom of 4x and Video recording is far from responding to high quality expectations.

The display is of only 1.8 inches and the 128x128 low resolution makes it clear, once again, that this phone is not made for taking and viewing pictures. Furthermore, it's not equipped with Blutooth connectivity, the user having to resort to the old-fashioned Infrared in order to transfer data.

As for playing music, this Sony W200i Walkman phone does its best to respond to the demand for high quality. The Media player and MegaBass help it, along with the support for MP3 and music tones. Not only that, but Sony included a Sony Bass Reflex Handset, HPM-64, meant to be as comfortable as possible for the user's ears.

Still, the phone has a memory of only 27MB. This is expanded by the 128MB Memory Stick Micro card, but still fails to provide enough storing space in order to compete with a MP3 player. The phone also supports a Web browser, NetFront Web and Access Browser, as well as RSS feeds, which turns out to be extremely useful for being up to date with the latest information and news.

This new Sony W200i mobile phone is now available online for a price that goes from 85 to 100 pounds, depending on the store.
