Like many brand vendors present at CES 2014, Sony pulled a brand new 2-in-1 hybrid machine out of the bag, the new Vaio Flip 11A.

The new product continues the tradition of its predecessors by bringing the same innovative hinge design that makes it possible for users to switch between tablet and Ultrabook mode.

Even if the device has barely been announced, the Vaio Flip 11A has already showed up on Amazon.de boasting a price tag of €899 / $1,216, so those interested can go ahead and place a pre-order.

Note the hybrid will ship with a quad-core Intel Pentium processor inside complete with 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD, but Sony says users will be able to update the configuration up to Core i7.

The hybrid also bundles an 8MP camera and an N-trig digitizer that allows users to interact with apps by virtue of a stylus.

I’ve also noticed a Vaio Flip 11A model on Amazon.de, which is equipped with an Intel Celeron N2920 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD, priced at €749 / €1,013.
