Buying a laptop has become an increasingly easier decision for computer users, especially given the high number of new models, form factors and configurations that have recently been launched on this ever-expanding market. On this note, Sony has decided to expand its line of portable VAIO systems with the introduction of a new system that will be part of the company's “Signature Collection.”

Based on the company's FW notebook, the new laptop has been dubbed VAIO Nebula FW and mixes a line of impressive technical specifications with a rather eye-catching design. There are only so many things that you can do with a laptop to differentiate it from what the competition offers, but Sony's “Signature Collection” is clearly about things that stand out from the crowd.

The new Nebula FW model sports an impressive list of specifications, which have been integrated into a unique and cool-looking exterior design, offering a choice for those that just won't settle for the standard basic black or brown color themes.

With that in mind, we should highlight all the things you will get for a starting price point of US$809.99 from a laptop that comes with a non-ultraportable 16.4-inch display. According to the company's website, the system offers a choice for Intel's latest Core 2 Duo processors, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and a wide range of SSD or traditional hard drive options, for up to 500GB of storage space. Being a VAIO laptop, you'll also get an integrated Blu-ray drive that is apparently included in the price tag, for added value.

If you have already fallen in love with what the VAIO Nebula FW laptop has to offer, be sure to check the company's website for availability, as these laptops will be produced in a limited number series.
