14 DAY TRIAL // Sony knows quite a lot of people will be getting PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable devices this holiday season so, in order to give them access to some great deals right from the get go, it’s kicked off a special Festive Sale on its European PlayStation Store, which starts today, December 23, ends on January 11, and includes discounts to full games, downloadable titles and even smaller PS minis releases.
We already posted the North American PlayStation Store update yesterday and, as you could see, quite a lot of great deals and discounts were made by Sony for residents of the U.S. or Canada. Now, the Japanese company has also confirmed what special features customers outside those territories can take advantage of.
After rewarding its PlayStation Plus subscribers with free games, now every PS3 or PSP owner can take advantage of the Festive Sale, in which over 100 titles have been given impressive discounts, depending on your region.

Noire Complete Edition – Save up to 10% PSP Games Metal Slug XX – save up to 73% Worms Battle Islands – save up to 65% Blazeblue Calamity Trigger Portable – save up to 57% What’s more, for those who want to check out the smaller and cheaper PS minis titles, 50 of them are now included in a special ‘mini Pick & Mix’ promotion. As such, for just €3.99/£3.19, PS Store owners can get five great PS minis games of their choosing.
In case you’re wondering how this works, all you need to do is buy the PS mini Pick & Mix ticket, which, after its purchase, takes you to a screen where you can select the five games you want.
