Usually, when you go shopping for a camera, there’s no men’s or women’s department you go to to pick up a gender-specific device.

But Sony believes ladies and gentlemen might use cameras in totally different manners. This is why the company is seriously thinking of launching a lady-friendly camera soon.

For the time being, we’re not given any specifics about the specs to be found within the device, because Sony only teases us with an image depicting perfume bottles.

Surely, we shouldn't expect the upcoming Sony lady camera to be a high-end product. The device will be a selfie-centric machine, meaning it will specifically be designed to take the best selfies ever. A similar device is the Casio TR-150, which also serves the same purpose.

In all possibility, it seems that ladies won’t have to wait long, as the camera could get unveiled as soon as August 22, so be sure to keep an eye out for it next month

It’s quite interesting that Sony believes the selfie camera market is developed enough as to launch a dedicated product, especially since this is a trend mostly observed in smartphones. For example, Sony is also rumored to have a selfie-centric phone in pipeline.
