Japanese handset vendor Sony Mobile is reportedly gearing up for the launch of a nice range of smartphones next year, with a 5-inch flagship handset planned for Q4 2013.

Previous rumors suggested that the company would aim at releasing full HD devices in the first half of the year, including the ones codenamed Odin and Yuga, but it seems that more of them will actually be slated for release.

In addition to a 6-inch phablet, Sony Mobile is also suggested to be working on a 5-inch smartphone that will become its flagship device when launched in the fourth quarter of the next year. It is said to sport features similar to those packed inside Odin and Yuga.

The large screen is said to boast a 1080p full HD resolution, and to be complemented by a Cortex- A15 CPU, 3GB RAM, 3,000 mAh battery and a 16-megapixel camera.
