Sony has started rolling out its redesigned PlayStation Store in Europe and the other PAL regions, but it seems that the company has taken it down after users have complained of errors relating to their online PSN wallets and to the lengthy and quite frequent loading screens.

The PlayStation Store is set to receive a major overhaul in these current weeks, as Sony is rolling it out in PAL territories this week and will launch it in North America on October 23.

Sadly, it seems that the European release hasn’t gone all that well, as PS3 users have immediately started complaining about lengthy and quite frequent loading screens while navigating the online store.

What’s more, a lot of people were unable to add funds to their PSN wallets, fact acknowledged by Sony on the PlayStation Europe Twitter account.

According to CVG, the problems have got so bad that Sony has decided to make the update PS Store unavailable until it solves all the issues.

As of yet, Sony hasn’t commented on these claims.
