The next generation Sony made handheld, which could be called Vita and is refereed to as the PlayStation Portable 2 by the gaming community, has been announced near the beginning of the year but only now has Sony officially announced some of the games that players will be able to enjoy on it.

WipEout 2084 is a new game in the futuristic racing series that has called the PlayStation home since 1995, set during the early years of races built around anti gravity devices.

The game will be created at the Liverpool Studio of Sony and will allow players to play against those who own WipEout HD Fury on the PlayStation 3.

Another revealed game is Little Deviants, which is specifically created at Bigbig Studios in order to take advantage of the unique hardware features of the NGP.

The game will be made up of mini games that will use the touch screen, the motion sensor, the cameras, the microphone and its augmented reality elements.

Super Stardust Delta will be a port of the PSN based shooter, with gamers able to use both dual analog stick controls and the touch screen and the motion sensing to play the game.

Reality Fighters is built entirely around the augmented reality concept and will allow players to take a picture of themselves using one of the NPG cameras and then face off against other gamers from around the world, with the setting of the battles created using footage captured by the new handheld.

Sound Shapes is a side scrolling platformer that is used to create music on the NGP, with players then able to share their tracks on the PSN.

Hustle Kings is a straight up pool game and the NPG will also get a arcade take on gold with Everybody's Golf.

Most PSP powered games will be compatible with the new Sony handheld and the company says that the experience will be significantly improved by the addition of dual analog sticks.
