Sony’s Xperia line of Android smartphones is one of the most popular series of device out there, although it hasn’t yet managed to reach the sales levels its maker was hoping for.

To make sure that these devices gain more traction on the market, Sony is planning a big marketing campaign for them.

As part of it, there will be a series of TV ads aired in the coming weeks/months. One such clip can be seen above, courtesy of TechCrunch.

The clip is based on a child’s vision of what a Sony Xperia handset packs inside. The idea behind the video is that “Sony Xperia smartphones are made of imagination.”

Sony asked children what was packed inside Xperia smartphones to make them special. “Using stop motion animation, acclaimed director Wes Anderson and Laika/house brought one boy's vision to life in this video,” the vendor notes.
