Sony Releases Movie Studio Platinum 12

Sony made available today a new major build for Movie Studio Platinum, which incorporates the necessary tools for hobbyists to produce professional videos.

Version 12 of the suite brings to the table increased functionality through a larger range of stereoscopic 3D adjustment tools. Publishing your work online or sharing it with your friends can be done through a new cloud-based service from Sony Creative Software, www.pixelcast.com.

Also new is the possibility to add up to 20 video and 20 tracks, thus bumping up the complexity of a project.

However, one of the most important aspects about Movie Studio Platinum 12 is the fact that it also comes with a 64-bit installer that allows improved stability and performance, since it lets you tap into more system resources than the 32-bit variant.
