14 DAY TRIAL // Owners of devices in Sony’s Xperia Z lineup can now download and install a new flavor of the Album application, namely version 5.3.A.0.22.
The new app iteration was made available with a series of performance improvements packed inside, as well as with various PlayMemories Online enhancements, it seems. Photos should be loading faster now.
As XperiaBlog notes, the new application version comes to devices with a slightly reduced footprint, as it weighs only 10.9MB, compared to 11.6MB for build version 5.2.A.1.20.
The updated software should be already arriving on Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia Z1, Xperia ZR, and Xperia Z Ultra devices out there. However, users can also grab it from the web and install it manually, provided that they do not want to wait for Sony to push it to them.
Yesterday, Sony also announced the availability of a new version of its PlayMemories Mobile application, currently up for grabs as version 4.0.
