Yet another update has been released for a certain waterproof tablet from Sony, but the version of the operating system is still not going any further.

One would think that Sony would have moved to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean by now, but the Xperia Tablet S continues to hold onto Android 4.0.

The new firmware version for the tablet is based on the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich release and, despite only adding a single feature, takes up a capacity of 330 MB.

Once the update is downloaded and properly installed, customers will be allowed to use SDXC memory cards with their devices (SD extended capacity).

That means that the Xperia Tablet S will have an extra 64 GB or 128 GB when a good enough card is inserted in the card slot.
