Following a long series of rumors and leaks, Sony Mobile has finally made Xperia Z official as its next flagship smartphone running under Google’s Android operating system.

Launched at CES 2013 in Las Vegas, the new device has a lot to offer to its users, starting with a great viewing experience on its large 5-inch full HD touchscreen display.

Furthermore, the handset can deliver great image and video shooting through its 13-megapixel photo snapper, “world's first image sensor with HDR video for smartphones,” as Sony explains.

To showcase some of the main features of the new Xperia Z, Sony has published the promo video embedded above.

“A screen so immersive you can get lost in it, images so real you feel like you're there, and a camera that lets you capture the moment whenever and wherever it occurs,” the company notes.
