Sony has revealed that it’s going to organize all of its future game bundles under the Collections tag, and confirmed that, besides the already announced Ratchet & Clank HD Collection, it’s also going to deploy the God of War Saga and the Infamous Collection.

The PlayStation 3 is already quite old by the industry’s standards, which means plenty of big games and franchises have already seen titles be released for it.

In order to give new customers a chance to experience these great games, Sony has kept on releasing special collections, both with re-mastered PS2 titles, like the Sly Cooper Collection, or with bundles of PS3 titles, like the Resistance trilogy.

Now, Sony has confirmed that its Collection lineup will see the release of not one but three major bundles later this month, on August 28, in North America.

The first bundle was already announced some time ago, in the form of the Ratchet & Clank HD Collection, which includes Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal.

Besides this pack of re-mastered PS2 titles, two other collections will also be released on that same day.

The first is the God of War Saga, which includes:

- God of War - God of War II - God of War III - God of War: Origins Collection (which includes God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta) - Exclusive Bonus Content - Voucher for 1 Trial Month of PlayStation Plus - Remastered for HD, Dualshock Control, Full PlayStation Network Trophy Support and 3D (3D supported only in God of War III and God of War: Origins Collection) Besides this impressive bundle, the Infamous Collection will also be launched on August 28, and includes:

- Infamous - Infamous 2 - Infamous: Festival of Blood - Extra missions - Additional character costumes, power ups and weapon styles

All these impressive collections will come out on August 28 in North America, both in retail stores and on the online PlayStation Store.

Those who want just some of these titles will be able to get them individually from the PS Store, although they won’t get the special bonuses.
