14 DAY TRIAL // A brand new report has appeared online claiming that Sony is preparing to debut original shows for the PlayStation Network, much like other streaming services, including Netflix.
Sony has promised that PlayStation Network users, aka owners of the PS3, PS Vita, or PS4, will be able to enjoy not just games from the online service but also a wealth of other entertainment options, courtesy of the company's different divisions, such as the movie-centric Sony Pictures.
Now, TSA has done some digging on a PSN advertising website set up by Sony and found a description from the company concerning original shows that will be made to be broadcasted over PSN.
"From the #1 studio worldwide, Sony Pictures, comes a series of original shows ranging from comedy to reality to sports. PlayStation Productions is dedicated to bringing high quality, professionally produced content to the PlayStation Network," the description read.
As of yet, however, Sony hasn't commented on the report and has made no mention of original shows for the PSN.
