Fergal Gara, the managing director of the UK PlayStation division, says that his company is looking to remain humble and keep the player at the center of all its efforts despite the early success of the PlayStation 4.

VG247 quotes the executive as stating that, “we’ve worked hard to show the right level of humility and focus and that we’re absolutely targeted at gamers and we’ve done our damndest to do a good job for them.”

Gara says that his company appreciates the feedback coming from the public about both the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita and aims to make sure that the best ideas are implemented in the coming months.

The PS4 managed to go over the 4.2 million units sold mark before the end of 2013 and Sony says that the fall of 2014 will bring more high-profile releases for the platform.
