A camera this small can hardly accommodate bigger Full Frame lenses

Although the A7 and A7r mirrorless cameras will hit shelves on December 1, Sony has recently issued a patent for a new NEX-5-like camera equipped with a 35mm full frame sensor.

Trusted sources claim that Sony is also preparing to launch a couple of new E-mount Full Frame bodies, that will be smaller and cheaper than the A7, sometime next year.

This comes as great news for the mirrorless market, which is showing clear signs that the Full Frame sensors will be a default feature for the future generations of mirrorless cameras.

The only “problem” I can spot in this entire picture (pun intended) is that a camera of this size would be somewhat difficult to handle due to the size of the current Full Frame lenses.

However, I guess we'll just have to wait and see the official specs before jumping to any conclusion.
