Just now, Sony has made available the download links for its latest PlayStation Vita firmware, namely version 3.10, which includes several changes that should improve the device’s overall performance and usability.

Specifically speaking, this fresh release increases the home screen apps display to a 500 limit, includes a new Calendar application that can sync with your Google Calendar, and adds a “Manage Content on Memory Card” option.

Moreover, you can now send and receive voice messages through the new Messages application, search for various files on the connected devices, limit the children’s PS Store access, sort video content by size, and use several new features brought by this update (the full changelog can be found on the firmware description page).

As for installing firmware 3.10, you can either do that by connecting the PlayStation Vita to a wireless network (or a PS3 system that is connected to the internet) through its Wi-Fi feature, or you can choose to download the firmware manually.

So, if the manual installation method is desired, simply copy the firmware (.PUP file format) onto the compatible memory card, insert it into the portable console, and the PS Vita will afterwards guide you through a successful installation.

That being said, download Sony PlayStation Vita Firmware 3.10, apply it to the console, and enjoy the new features brought by this release.
