Sony P and S Tablets Provide Direct Access to Five Gameloft Mobile Games

Showcased at this year's IFA trade fair, Sony's P and S tablets have attracted some of the big names in the mobile gaming industry.

In this regard, Gameloft and Sony teamed up to offer direct access to five of the former's popular mobile games from either of the two tablets.

According to Gameloft, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD, N.O.V.A. 2 - Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance HD, Real Soccer 2011 HD, Spider-Man: Total Mayhem HD, and Green Farm HD have been optimized to work on Sony S and P tablets.

Obviously, all five game will be offered for free to any customers that purchases one of the upcoming Sony tablets.

“The high impact of the "Sony Tablet S's" large display along with the unique dual screen configuration of the "Sony Tablet P" truly enhances the overall entertainment value of the gaming experience,” said Gonzague de Vallois, Senior Vice President Publishing, Gameloft.

Even though both tablets feature almost similar hardware configuration, they are completely different when it comes to design and form factor.

Of the two, Sony Tablet S features a more traditional design, though is quite different from other Android tablets available on the market.

Sony Tablet S has standard slate design and is thicker on one end than the other. It measures 241.2 x 174.3 x 10.1mm (20.6mm) and weighs 598 g (battery included).

On the other hand, Sony Tablet P features a foldable form factor and is delivered with dual touchscreen displays.

The tablet measures 180 x 158 x 14 mm when is opened and 180 x 79 x 28 mm when closed, and weighs only 372g (battery included).

Both Sony S and P tablets are expected to hit shelves in the next few weeks.
