14 DAY TRIAL // After making the Reader WiFi $130 (96 EUR) at the end of last week, Sony has now reconsidered its decision and established that, at least for the Holiday season, this shouldn’t cost more than $99 (74 EUR).
This is quite a significant discount from the original $149.99, which makes Sony’s e-Reader quite an interesting option especially when taking into consideration its Android insides and great hacking potential.
But that’s not all. If you happen to own any old Sony e-Reader and are willing to trade it in, then you can drop another $50 off its price, making it a cool $49.99 (37.3 EUR).
So there you have it. Until December 24, the Sony Reader Wi-Fi will battle it out with the Kindle Touch and the Nook Simple Touch at the $99 price point.
