Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile has made available a brand new application for the owners of Android-based devices, namely Voice Balloon Photo.

This is a new photo application for Android handsets, but designed to add a bit more fun to newly shot images, by putting speech balloons on them.

“Add dialogues to photos to keep your memories alive! Voice Balloon Photos uses voice recognition so you can save photos with speech balloons,” Sony notes in the software’s description.

Furthermore, the company explains that the app will also provide users with the possibility to edit text and change the theme of the speech balloons. Thus, they will be able to recreate the atmosphere at the time of shooting in the manner they want.

Voice Balloon Photos is very easy to use. Simply Start the phone’s camera, select Voice Balloon Photos, and allow the device to recognize voices around you so that speech balloons appear.

Then, simply tap the camera key to snap photos with the speech balloons displayed on it. As mentioned above, photos can be edited after that, and speech balloons can also be removed.

At the moment, Sony’s Voice Balloon Photo application is available for download as version 1.0.A.0.0, and can be found in the Google Play store.
