When you have on your side the power of a brand, such as Walkman, you have to speculate it, whether you're talking of cell phones or MP3 players. And since, when you say MP3 player, you involuntarily think about iPod (if that isn't efficient marketing, I don't know what is), why should you also think about Walkman?
Therefore, Sony has launched a new line of MP3 players fitted with a flash card, an OLED and a USB connector,
to ease the connection to the PC and to provide the quick transfer of files. Sony has also chosen some attractive colors: Tropical Ice (Blue), Cotton Candy (Pink), Licorice (Black) and Coconut (White), but it's not all about the design.
Shaped like bean, Sony Walkman Bean will come in three versions: NW-E205 with 512MB of memory, NW-E207 with 1GB, and NW-E305, a special model, which aside from the 512MB of memory, will also come with a FM tuner.
Sony Walkman Bean will be able to play MP3 and ATRAC3 formatted songs, and it will also be fitted with a Li-Ion battery, able to ensure 50 hours of functioning. It's worth mentioning that the battery also has a special quick charge function, a 3 minute recharge which provides 3 hours of functioning.
The prices for Sony Walkman Bean have not been announced yet by Sony.
