Sony has made a statement after the different reports concerning bricked or broken PlayStation 4 consoles, confirming that it's investigating all of them and they're mostly just isolated incidents.

The PS4 launches officially tomorrow, November 15, in North America, but already some lucky fans managed to get their consoles early.

Unfortunately, quite a few cases have popped up of either completely broken consoles that won't start, or ones that get bricked when trying to install firmware update 1.50.

Sony's Shuhei Yoshida has posted a message on Twitter saying that the company is investigating these problems.

"Be assured we are investigating reported PS4 issues. The number is very small compared to shipped, we believe they are isolated incidents," he told followers.

As such, future PS4 owners shouldn't be too worried about the console's recent failures.
