Exclusives like Driveclub and third-party titles like Destiny are mentioned

Sony has offered a highlight of the 100+ games that will appear this year for the PlayStation 4 console, starting with this month's big titles, like Infamous: Second Son or Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, and continuing with major exclusives like The Order 1866 or Driveclub.

The PS4 came out last November and brought forth a great device that impressed many gamers from around the world. Despite boasting really good sales of over 6 million units at the beginning of March, Sony knows that its console will live or die based on the games coming for it.

After releasing launch-day exclusives like Killzone: Shadow Fall or Resogun, not to mention third-party heavyweights like Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, or FIFA 14, Sony is now looking towards the future for the platform.

In order to show just how many titles are slated to appear this year for the PS4, both as lightweight digital downloads and full-fledged retail titles, a big list has been revealed on the PS blog.

First up, the games of spring have been highlighted, which include Watch Dogs and Trials Fusion from Ubisoft, Wolfenstein: The New Order from Bethesda, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn from Square Enix, and much more.

Zen Studios is bringing CastleStorm: Definitive Edition as well as KickBeat: Steam Edition, while Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition is coming from Drinkbox, so check out the spring list of upcoming PS4 games below.

For summer and autumn, Sony has listed quite a few different titles from various publishers. Bethesda is betting big with The Elder Scrolls Online and The Evil Within, while Bungie and Activision are set to release Destiny, the long-awaited first-person online shooter.

Square Enix is also set to debut Murdered: Soul Suspect, its innovative mystery game, while EA and BioWare are going to launch Dragon Age: Inquisition. Indie titles like The Witness or Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will also keep the console going.

Rocksteady and Warner Bros. are deploying Batman: Arkham Knight, while Blizzard is catering to dungeon crawler fans with Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition.
