After announcing the list of playable games at Gamescom 2014, Sony removed some of the listed titles from the event’s website.

While the actual reason for the removal of some of titles has not been divulged by Sony yet, it may be due to the fact that the company intends to surprise its fans with the announcements in August.

A few of the titles removed will surely get many gamers excited, as they are considered some of the most promising and engaging experiences of the last generation.

Sony is seemingly intending to turn the re-release of remastered PlayStation 3 games on the PlayStation 4 into a habit, with more apparently set to come to the company’s next-gen computer entertainment system.

Until Dawn, Nom Nom Galaxy, and the highly acclaimed Journey are among the listed titles, all of which will allegedly be playable at Gamescom in Germany. Journey is considered one of the most atmospheric games available on the PlayStation 3, focusing on a lack of gameplay as its main gameplay mechanic.

The game offers a serene and unique visual and aural experience, and the PlayStation 4’s power should regale players with an even more immersive and satisfying journey.

Although the list was pulled by Sony, the fine folks at NeoGAF captured it for all eternity:

PlayStation 4: Alien: Isolation, Assault Android Cactus, Battlefield: Hardline, Bloodborne, CounterSpy, Destiny, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition, Disney Infinity 2, Driveclub, Far Cry 4, Galak-Z, Guns Up!, Helldivers, Hohokum, Hustle Kings, inFamous First Light, Journey, Killzone: Shadow Fall Intercept, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, LittleBigPlanet 3, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Minecraft PlayStation 4 Edition, NBA 2K15, Nom Nom Galaxy, Nuclear Throne, Pix the Cat, Project Cars, SingStar, Super Exploding Zoo, Surgeon Simulator, The Last of Us Remastered, The Order: 1886, The Unfinished Swan, Until Dawn and WWE 2K15.
