Tim Moss, the director of technology working at the Sony Santa Monica studios, says that the indie game Flower will run at 1080p and 60 frames per second on the PlayStation 4, which enhances its already impressive art style.

The executive states via Twitter that, “Playing Flower on PS4 today. The return of 60 fps games for this generation is making me ecstatically happy. A pretty magical experience.”

Flower is a launch window game on the PS4, which means that it will be released before March 2014.

It is also exclusive to the Sony device for a limited time, before it is also offered on the PC.

The game is created by thatgamecompany and designed by Jenova Chen and Nicholas Clark and the team has a good track record of creating impressive game experiences on the PlayStation 3.

The team is best known for Journey, which has quickly become a best-seller via the PSN.
