A month ago we were reporting that three Swiss online stores already listed the lens for pre-order at a significantly lower price point around 1,450 CHF, which is €1,175 or $1,576, respectively.
From what it seems, the same websites are still selling the Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS lens at a lower price than the one found on the official Sony European stores.
In addition to that, a small mistake has slipped in the lens description that replaces the f/4 aperture value with an f/2.8 aperture. Hopefully, Sony will fix this soon in order to prevent misleading their customers.
