Japanese-Swedish phone maker Sony Ericsson has been rumored for quite some time now to plan launching on the market a handset powered by Google's Android operating system, namely the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3, also known as Rachael, and now the device has got a teaser video, which shows that November 3 would be the day when it will be unveiled to the world.

Sony Ericsson also launched a teaser webpage for the handset, which announces that something will happen on November 3, and we're all waiting for that day to learn that the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 is officially the first Android-based mobile phone from the joint venture. One more thing that should be added here is that the handheld was rumored recently to have had its name changed to XPERIA X10.

The device has seen a series of leaks lately, and has also been spotted listed for pre-order at a certain moment, and all pointed towards a November official announcement for the phone. Sony Ericsson unveiled not to long ago that it adopted the Sony “make believe” branding, and the Android handset is heading to the market in an attempt to make us believe that it is capable of delivering attractive phones once again. This XPERIA device joins a series of phones that already include two Windows Mobile-based handsets, the XPERIA X1 and X2, as well as a feature phone, the XPERIA Pureness, which was officially announced only several weeks ago. The X3 (X10) is expected to come to the market with a Snapdragon processor, a 4-inch touchscreen display and an 8-megapipxel camera, features that will place it at the high-end of the Android market segment.

No details on when the phone will actually emerge on the market are available at the moment, yet previous rumors suggested that Q1 2010 would be the lucky time frame for enthusiasts. Take a look at the video below to enjoy a glimpse of Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3, and stay tuned for a November 2 official announcement.
