Sony Ericsson Z550 is a new phone announced by Sony Ericsson. Finished in a combination of brushed metal against a high gloss material, the Z550 is suited both
for work and leisure.
The 1.3 Megapixel camera has 4x digital zoom and takes great snap shots and video for capturing those unpredictable moments. These can be viewed on a crisp, bright color display. With 20MB of onboard memory expandable to 1GB, it's simple to store and share a large collection of pictures using MMS, Bluetooth or e-mail.
"The Z550 has an exclusive, understated feel that's a tribute to our iconic phone the T610, and features a 1.3 megapixel camera, unusual for a phone in this sector," said Jan Wareby, Corporate Executive Vice President, Head of Sales and Marketing, Sony Ericsson. "In all, the Z550 is a phone that breathes quality and value."
Finding shots once you've stored them is child's play with the new thumbnail gallery feature. This allows you to search your images both visually and according to the date they were taken with multiple thumbnail images being shown on the 262k sharp color screen.
The Z550 connects easily to a PC for fast transfer of multimedia files and synchronization with your phone book and calendar. The phone also has full HTML Internet browsing and optional Bluetooth headset and car-handsfree kit for wireless freedom on the move.
