One month after Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini became available on the market, its slider sibling has just been displayed on the 'Coming Soon' webpage at Vodafone UK. The X10 Mini Pro would probably hit the shelves in July at a similar price as its other family counterpart without a keyboard, X10 Mini. Vodafone customers can click on the red "Register for the updates" option on Vodafone's website to get new info on the availability of the smartphone.

The Xperia X10 Mini Pro features a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 2.55-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen that supports 16M colors and a scratch resistant surface. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7227 CPU running at speeds of up to 600MHz and embeds 128 MB internal memory and a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 16GB (2GB card included). Besides the full QWERTY keyboard, other highlights of the device include a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support.

It measures 90 x 52 x 17 mm and weighs 120g (including battery). There's also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support connectivity, as well as HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. The whole Google package is also included: Google Search, Maps, Gmail and Gtalk, and also a dedicated YouTube client. Music lovers will be able to take advantage of a smooth experience thanks to the included 3.5mm audio jack port, plus the integrated music and video players.

The gadget is running on an old Android 1.6 operating system, but also integrates Sony Ericsson's latest proprietary Timescape user interface. It is possible that Vodafone will offer updates in the near future, but nothing certain has been disclosed. This would be the third Xperia X10 family smartphone offered by Vodafone UK, after Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini.
