To pack lots and lots of Indian music

Sony Ericsson W910 just got a new release, this time on the Indian market. The device has already been available in UK stores for quite a while now and it was time for it to start going global.

The W910 music phone coming from Sony Ericsson had a bumpy release up to this point. The first shipment that hit UK stores has been recalled because of software problems. It looks like the handsets restarted after 10 seconds and failed to answer calls. The producer took care of this problem and now certifies customers that everything is perfectly alright with the handset.

It would have been a shame to see things stand otherwise, as Sony Ericsson W910 is one of the most evolved music phones coming from this manufacturer. The handset packs two highly appealing features, including Shake Control, which makes it possible to manage playlists with just a flick of the wrist and with no use for traditional buttons. This device also packs the SensMe feature, which makes it possible for users to organize their music track according to their mood rather than album or artists.

The handset also packs a 2.3-inch screen and a 2-megapixel camera that is supposed to take average quality captures. There is also Motion Sensor Gaming, which means that the user will be able to move around in games only by balancing the device in the palm of his hand.

"Sony Ericsson created Shake Control and SensMe because we want music lovers to experience their music on a whole new level. We are confident that users will have hours of fun shaking up their music and exploring the SensMe feature to match the right tracks to your mood. The W910i aims to redefine 'music on your mobile' and signifies the coming of age of the Walkman phone", commented Sudhin Mathur, General Manager of Sony Ericsson India.

Sony Ericsson W910 is now available in India in two colors of Hearty Red and Noble black for the price of Rs. 19,000 (about USD 480).
