Sony Ericsson W760, one of the newest Walkman slider phones, might soon be released by AT&T, the largest North American mobile carrier. Although there is nothing coming from AT&T regarding the W760, the handset has recently been spotted featuring the carrier's logo, as Cell Phone Signal reports. Thus, it's almost sure that in the next months, North American users will be able to buy a Sony Ericsson W760 from AT&T.

The W760 is an unusual handset for the Swedish-Japanese manufacturer, being the first device to come with quad-band GSM (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) plus tri-band HSDPA (850 / 1900 / 2100) connectivity.

Worldwide connectivity aside, Sony Ericsson W760 also brings a wide range of nice features, including: internal GPS, a 2.2 inch TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels and 256K colors, motion sensor, pre-installed 3D games, stereo speakers, Media player, TrackID, Mega Bass, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Push to Talk, email, NetFront browser, Instant Messaging, a 3.15 Megapixel camera with video recording, USB 2.0, 40MB of internal memory and a 1GB microSD card.

Sony Ericsson W760 weighs 103 grams (3.63 ounces) and, when closed, it measures 103 x 48 x 15 millimeters (4.05 x 1.89 x 0.59 inches).

Hopefully, the W760 will be available in the US in all of its color versions: Rocky Silver, Intense Black and Fancy Red. No word yet if the W760 gets released by AT&T in a bundle package with the Zeemote JS1 game controller, but I don't think anyone would mind that happening.

US users might want to know that the retail price of W760 in Europe is of 250 Euros (about $375); hence, AT&T might offer the phone for around 100 with a two-year contract agreement. Now, all there is left is for AT&T to come up with a release date for the W760.
