Today, Sony Ericsson uploaded on its website the official video presentation for W760, the newest handset from the Walkman series. The video doesn't bring any news about the W760, but it is a sign that the Swedish-Japanese company is readying the official launch of the phone.

Anyway, despite the fact that it's not yet released in an official way, the handset is available via several online retail stores, as we already reported last week. The phone has retail prices of around $400 (or 255 Euros) but, after it is properly launched, users who want it will be able to get it for less, if bought together with contract agreements from mobile operators.

First announced back in January, the W760 is the first Walkman phone to feature GPS and tri-band HSDPA connectivity (850 / 900 / 2100 MHz). Moreover, since the handset also comes with support for quad-band GSM frequencies (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), it's capable of working in almost any country around the globe, hence Sony Ericsson will probably commercialize it in all possible markets.

The rest of the features that W760 brings include: a 2.2 inch TFT display with QVGA resolution (240 x 320) and 256K colors, Walkman 3.0, shake control function, FM radio with RDS, stereo speakers, TrackID, SensMe, motion sensor for advanced gaming, pre-installed Need for Speed ProStreet, NetFront browser, email, RSS reader, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, microSD card support for up to 4GB and so on - all in a slider case that measures 103 x 48 x 15 millimeters and weighs 103 grams.
